Deal. No more just giving the loot to only your butt buddies anymore.
samljer on 12. Apr. 2018.
no no no, this had to happen - too many people are fucking over others, even guilds. top guilds are like the top 5% only, everything else is a shit show. and 80% is not a lot.... thats still 4 people in 20 getting fucked.
Aaron Long on 12. Apr. 2018.
They *do* know best. Having had many a guild crack up over idiot loot drama, because some entitled asshat decides to pitch a tantrum because they didn't get a piece of gear before someone who had put in way more work than them to reach that point, I like nothing better than loot that's yours, immediately, with no arguments, no ninja looting, no bullshit.
Jason C on 12. Apr. 2018.
i think making diff quest hubs for horde and alliance in a xpac that is all about a fucking faction war is fucking stupid i want to see horde when im questing not when i hit 120 in some stupid bg mode

I mean, this is just blizzard now a days, they dont care about anything but the bottom line. They are more interested in making the least amount of bullshit and issues to deal with even if it takes away core aspects of the game. Dumbed down talents...removes talent tree and and adds this shit current talent system that was supposed to be supported by the glyph system, which game us inscription...now glyphs are nothing, have no value and the inscription job is pointless. Every expansion this game gets more dumbed down then the previous one. Pretty sure they are just setting this game up to be easily managed by a small team to let it die. Less systems means less work and the game will run itself. Blizzard is a terrible gaming company that is way to cocky thinking they know what we want when it turns out most of the time its the complete opposite.

Kristofer Kravis on 12. Apr. 2018.
I think this game has become too much about gathering loot rather than building bonds...
Burak ŞİBİL on 11. Apr. 2018.
Guys wtf, in even personal loot, you can ask for someone who has a piece to give it to you. or the guild master can tell him to give that item to someone else. End of rage story.
beholdthesupergirl on 11. Apr. 2018.
...yeah in BC only like 17% of the subscribers were able to get into raids. The golden era of raiding didn't hit until Wrath. I agree with this guy though: STOP PUNISHING GUILDS FOR BEING GUILDS, reward teamwork! :D
Cyncat on 11. Apr. 2018.
this isn't a big deal. the guild I am in just runs personal loot any way. and if someone has loot they don't want, they just pass it off to our "master looter" and they pass out the loots through rolls while the rest of us go out to kill the trash. once at the boss he gets summoned, and hands out the rolled loot. the loot that wasn't rolled on gets shared, and the mats go into the guild bank for enchants and such.
superveggito2000 on 11. Apr. 2018.
Blizzard probably has data they aren't releasing to justify this decision. For a lot of players there is no incentive to raid with a guild vs LFR. Guilds always have a "priority" system on who gets loot. My game and loot experience is at the mercy of a player. Why allow a player to determine if I get something when I can just LFR? They probably have so much data proving that people LFR way more than raid as a guild and this is why. So I support the decision. Hardcore players will always have gear. who really cares what they do. 1% or not. This new system gives incentive to actually join a guild and raid with them, now I don't have to worry about favoritism. It's also less stress on guild leads and officers. I 100% support this decision.

Take a hose. Turn it on full. Try washing the deeply wedged sand out of your vag. You used to be amusing. Now every video is entitled crying shitstain. Unsubbed. Just wish I could get you to stop coming up in my feed anymore.
John Freedman on 11. Apr. 2018.
Ya Swtor had similar loot issues. I liked when we downed the final boss and the dps bounty hunter got the healing pistol, and the healing bounty hunter got the dps pistol. No trading or master loot......

Played since release, 2004... WoW has become so snowflake it isn't even funny. I feel like I'm playing an Asian mmo then a Western MMO 99% of the time these days. I've played all of Legion solo merely because I can't stand how simple the game has become, yeah sure I'm a Vanilla fanboy but I don't toss it around because it doesn't matter. The LFR system is cancer and instances are a joke to begin with. Mystic is a cop out for lack of creativity on Blizzards behalf. Who wants to run the same crap 5mans over and over, I'd take brain cancer over having to do any more of those instances and MOP content. Blizz shouldn't be messing with loot, let the guild's figure it out the way they always have, in fact make people more reliant on Guilds, Guilds are the largest social part of the game. Wow has become almost completely anti-social due to LFR an LFD if not toxic. But eh, Imma' just keep to my fishin' and rep grinds.
RubixNinja on 11. Apr. 2018.
I disagree... I think it's fine.
stephen sager on 11. Apr. 2018.
Also even with *0% of the raid being in a guild you still need 20% which are pugs they get the shaft when it comes to them getting gear over a guild member.
stephen sager on 11. Apr. 2018.
They are changing the loot system to make the raids last longer so they can try to fine tune the next raid instead of pumping out a bunch of crap.
Kyle Mahaffey on 10. Apr. 2018.
This personal loot thing is ridiculous, but if the Bliz team can change their rewards style, I think it can work. Thematically it might be difficult, but it'd be a similar setup to the old token system. Maybe taking the "essence" of the boss back to some magical smithy that allows you an item from a boss's loot table, ultimately giving a guaranteed upgrade from every boss every week. This will definitely ramp up gearing dramatically and most likely burn out the hardcore raiders in just a few runs. It might be more fair to "wing" off raids so that you get that "essence" after defeating all of those bosses or a certain number of bosses. My ideal raiding scenario is 25 man Professor Oak: you're here and did the mechanics to down the thing? Cool. Choose one of the shinies on the list you really want. Then next week go back and get something else, guaranteed. RNGeesus has made kings and commoners out of too many people when we all just want to play a game and be rewarded for it. F

I've been off the warcrack for about a year and I can't figure out why people are still playing this.

Every one should be able to find something he likes. PVP, Raids, Dungeons, Trading, Crafting, Petbattle, Levling etc.... It doesnt matter. The only what matters is to have fun! I don't like the way wow is right now. I leveld on 110, 1 week later i quit. Why ? Because of the legendary weapon. I don't like to have a XP bar after you leveld up. I don't want to be "forced" to grind or quest for artefact power. I played it for 8 years i had a lot of fun and the best part of it was to be a noob! Everything was new, fresh and exciting. Now its like to work instead of playing a game. Everything needs to be done fast.
Josh McCabe on 10. Apr. 2018.
It's honestly like they have a vendetta against guilds and the social aspect of the game. I've only played since Wrath but it seems with every expansion / major update, the community suffers. From bringing in LFG for dungeons, LFR, LFG for raids and also by making 4 raid difficulties. They brought in guild perks to make being in a guild worthwhile, had cash flow, mass rez etc, but then they removed that too. Now to remove master loot which is probably the last benefit of casual guild raiding I have no idea why most people would bother. Most players don't touch Mythic raiding. Now for the majority of players, what is the point of even being in a guild and commiting to raid times? There isn't one... If you're very casual, LFR. If you have a tiny amount of skill, Normal. Or if you're a decent player Heroic. All of which you can pug after the first 2-3 weeks after release. Absolute joke.

So sad this game has become a game decided by no life basement virgins playing 25 hours a day.
JJoe on 10. Apr. 2018.
Gear shouldn’t be guaranteed, snowflake. It was like this in Vanilla, and it shouldn’t change.
Xeno23 on 9. Apr. 2018.
We used a bid system back in BC/WotLK. You got "points" for participating in raids and you would bid on items and main spec got priority. That way one person wouldn't get all the gear and we could spread out the growth of the group. Seemed to work well.
CHUMP on 9. Apr. 2018.
whatever blizzard needs to slow their need to "create content" is a win in their book

2:15 "We're really looking at dozens of people who are changing the entire game for thousands of people." My irony meter just exploded.
Thresh Prince on 9. Apr. 2018.
People who have 10 Argus ills and still don't have the trinket.... well if a guild run with no personal loot gets it as a drop who gets the trinket? If people run Argus and 1 out of 23 gets it as a drop, whats the difference between the bad rng there? 1/23 vs guild gets it as a drop and the guild has a bias on whom gets it, still 1/23 1:10> complains, its just bad math... and salt. All master loot systems only benefits the people running it and that is the truth. If someone gets a dupe they can still trade it with others and its at their discretion. But when a guild does a run and they see to it that certain people get what they need and others who are not deemed as important get screwed over while personal loot offers a fairer alternative...

Pandan on 8. Apr. 2018.
There's nothing wrong with master loot. I feel like this decision is coming from someone within blizzard who is just 'guessing' master loot creates issues that don't exist. If you join a PuG that has master loot on, that's your own fault. If anything, they should make master loot being Active more obvious to avoid these 'apparent' PuG master loot loot scams.
Martin Canevello on 8. Apr. 2018.
I think you over reacted a little bit there asmon, if theres something that legion taught me is, people over react to change way too fucking hard, remember when they changed m+ to not give 3 chests but 1 only, people over reacted so hard to that, and now its all cool, just chill, things will work out and people will figure it out as always, we are humans, we adapt. Im not saying I disagree with your message in this video asmon, but you over reacted a bit. Its not the worst change in the whole game, I mean come on, lets get real for a sec haha

Also I dont even know what a "split run" is. lol
Mara Sedai on 7. Apr. 2018.
I like yiour vids Asmongold but I have to disagree with this one. Master looter is just a way for guilds/friends to rip off the pugs in their group. Personal loot makes loor drops fair for everyone in the group, not just guildmates and friends.
AdamXA on 7. Apr. 2018.
This is good, fuck master looter.
Jonathan Joestar on 7. Apr. 2018.
Nah, while it’s gonna fuck up transmog runs somewhat, at least now ass kissers in guilds won’t get freebies despite their cancerous performance. P.S. This system works fine in Diablo 3
FrigginManatees on 7. Apr. 2018.
Maybe they miss the excitement of the race for world first kills like they had in the older expansions. These used to be kind of a big deal. These days everyone watches Method downing the mythic final boss exclaiming "this was so easy," and maybe if they couldn't farm gear like crazy that wouldn't happen.
Justaguyyoutubin on 7. Apr. 2018.
"Theyre always saying the want feedback but then its like they dont read the feedback".... Probably Asmon's biggest realization during this video. Dont be a naive child. They dont want your feedback. They are obliged to say they want your feedback for PR reasons. They dont care what you have to say. Wake up.
